As a family focusing on eco-friendly and comfortable travel experiences, we recently stayed at Gowtham during our journey to Pondicherry from Coimbatore. While our visit turned out to be quite different from what we expected, I must highlight some family-friendly amenities that can appeal to those traveling with kids. The hotel's prime location near Fun Republic Mall made it convenient for our family to explore local eateries and shopping options, which the kids loved. We spent a delightful afternoon at the mall, finding it easy to slip in some retail therapy. It’s worth noting that our room wasn’t in the best condition; we encountered some cleanliness issues and had to wait several hours for room changes. Despite this, the staff made an effort to assist us after our concerns. The restaurant below offered reasonable dining options, providing sustenance for our adventurous days. Would we return? Perhaps, but with a thorough check of the room first. It’s a mixed bag, but I believe that with awareness and preparation, families can find joy in staying here.
